We spent four months on the bias angle alone. Cut on the true bias, satin falls with the body rather than sitting flat against it — which is the real reason it reads as slimming.
Fabric
58% silk, 42% viscose at 92 gsm. A fine pearl sheen, never a hard shine. Lined in matching acetate so it is neither sheer nor clingy.
Fit
Regular fit. The model is 172cm / 52kg and wears a size S. If you are fuller through the bust, take the next size up.
Styling
On its own with a fine heeled sandal it is an evening dress. Add an oversized blazer and a loafer and it goes straight into the office.
