Honest fit
Every product lists the model's height, weight and the size worn, plus flat measurements. We do not retouch a silhouette into existence, and we would rather you not have to alter what arrives.
A garment is not worth much because it gets noticed. It is worth something because it gets worn for years.

Our Story
VELORA began in Shanghai in 2019. Three people, a studio under sixty square metres, and eight months spent getting the waistline of a single straight-cut dress right.
That dress has now sold for seven years. The pattern has never been changed. It taught us something we still work from: rather than reinventing ourselves every season, make one right thing that holds up over time.
Today the range runs from dresses and tops through to knitwear and outerwear, but the test has not moved. Is the fabric comfortable. Is the cut honest. Does the price match what went into it.

Craft
We do not sketch first. We choose cloth first. Before each season the design and pattern team spend two weeks at the mills, handling every new greige fabric, and only then decide what the season can be.
Everything that goes into production is third-party tested for colourfastness, shrinkage, pilling and formaldehyde. Batches that fail are not quietly downgraded into cheaper styles — they go back.
Every product lists the model's height, weight and the size worn, plus flat measurements. We do not retouch a silhouette into existence, and we would rather you not have to alter what arrives.
61% of the range now uses organic cotton, recycled fibres or certified linen. Packaging is compostable, and single-use plastic polybags are gone.
Core styles are restocked rather than discontinued or dumped into clearance. We also repair free of charge, so a piece can stay in use for a few more years.
Three people, one small room, and the straight-cut dress that is still selling.
We stopped outsourcing, built a team of eight patternmakers, and rebuilt our size system around real body data.
Long-term agreements with twelve mills, switching progressively to organic and recycled fibres.
